Lovers Bay (LH 8) is an attractive little beach that often graces the travel brochures advertising the island. It is a 150 m long sandy beach, surrounded by low calcarenite bluffs, backed by a grassy picnic area, and fronted by coral reef flats. The bluff breaks it into a northern and southern pocket of sand. It lies just off the Lagoon Road with the two mountains forming a backdrop to the south. Reef flats, and then fringing reef extend up to 850 m offshore.
Beach Length: 0.15km
General Hazard Rating: 150/10
