Wharf Beach is the main beach for Watsons Bay. The once continuous beach is divided into two by the central jetty. The southern section of the beach (SH 49) extends for 110 m from the rocks on the northern side of the swimming pool to the jetty. The beach faces west across the harbour and consists of a 1-2 m wide strip of high tide sand backed by a low irregular shaped seawall, walkway, then the sloping grassy Robertson Park. Boats are moored off the southern half of the beach, with the water off the northern end used for ferry traffic at the wharf. The main northern section of the beach (SH 50) curves gently north of the jetty for 200 m to the inner rocks of Laings Point
Beach Length: 0.11km
