The Ninderry-Twin Waters Beach (1544) runs for 3km from the cuspate foreland down to the north side of the Maroochy River mouth. Waves are a little lower along this beach, resulting in only one inner bar. However it continues to be dominated by rips all the way to the river mouth, where the shifting tidal shoals and strong tidal currents pose an additional hazard.
