There is a walking track which runs adjacent to the beach and is great for a family bike ride. There is also a playground for children to play in. This area is also a high traffic area for boats. Caution is strongly advised at all times while in this area. This beach is patrolled during the September, Christmas and Easter school holidays (Qld state schools holidays).
