Coningham Beach (TAS0480) lies 300m to the east on the eastern side of 20 m high Hurst Point. The 500 m long beach faces northeast across the bay entrance and receives waves averaging up to 0.5 m, which maintain a reflective to occasionally low tide terrace beach. A row of ten boat sheds line the western end of the each, with six along the eastern end as well as a small area of reserve, picnic area and toilets. Two rows of houses occupy the backing slopes, with the reserve dominating the higher slopes that rise to 240 m at Sheppards Hill. Test update
